Community Assistance Events: Supporting Our Neighbors in Need

At PNM, we are committed to helping our community thrive. We host several on-site bill assistance events throughout the year to provide customers with easy access to the PNM Good Neighbor Fund (GNF) and other assistance programs. These events are part of our ongoing mission to support income-qualified customers, including seniors, families, and individuals facing hardships.

What to Expect at Our Events

At these events, you can:

• Learn about the PNM Good Neighbor Fund and how it can help eligible customers with their electric bills.
• Discover other income-qualified programs aimed at improving financial stability.

Our knowledgeable team and community partners will be on-site to answer your questions, review your eligibility, and assist you with completing applications.

Prepare Before You Attend

To make the most of your visit, please review the PNM Good Neighbor Fund qualifications and bring the following documents with you:

1. LIHEAP or SNAP award letter for the current year.
2. Your most recent PNM bill showing a past-due balance or disconnect notice (not required for seniors).
3. A valid photo ID that matches the name on your PNM account

Can't attend one of the events below? PNM partners with the Rio Grande Food Project to administer the Good Neighbor Fund program year-round, and ensure help is available to those most in need. Rio Grande Food Project welcomes walk-ins Wednesday and Friday from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at 600 Coor BLVD NW Albuquerque, NM 87121. For assistance outside of their walk-in hours, call the GNF helpline at 505-526-1005 to schedule an appointment.
